Patients are seen at home, work, film sets, hotels, meetings or wherever they may be located. Dr. Fato is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via cell phone or email. Patients are seen urgently, the same day or whenever it is convenient.

What is Concierge Medicine?
The average primary care physician today sees an average of 20 to 40 patients each day, sometimes even more. In addition each physician may oversee the primary care of 3000-5000 patients. The current healthcare system emphasizes quantity over quality and doctors are judged on their productivity (how many patients they see in a given period of time) and how much revenue they generate for the health system in which they work. Healthcare that is driven by numbers and profit cannot focus on providing the best healthcare for patients. Medico, by focusing on the patient, provides high quality, personalized medical care.

Fees
In order to provide this unsurpassed level of care, Medico charges a yearly retainer fee for primary care patients that is not reimbursable by insurance. Patients still need to carry health insurance for hospitalization, medications and testing. We charge an hourly fee for consultative services or short-term medical care.
